Are you aware of the pitfalls of not having a will? Have you been left out of a will or received less than you feel you’re entitled to? What do you do in the event of a relative dying without leaving a will? Have you been appointed as an executor of a will and are not sure what to do? Wills and estates can be the cause of many headaches, but they don’t have to be. Here at Alexanders Lawyers, we specialise in:
We are professional Wills and Probate Lawyer Perth. Our offices are located in Balcatta, Leeming and Perth.
Our wills and estate expert Kathryn Mitchell has many years of experience setting up simple as well as complex wills. She can help you set up a will in such a way that you can be sure your wishes will be carried out. By making a will, you can prevent family disputes and minimise inheritance tax liabilities.
We have a great deal of experience in representing clients who feel they’ve not been properly looked after in a relative’s will. Sometimes, no proper will even exists. We’ve helped clients through this difficult process and achieved far greater sums than they were bequeathed in the original will or by the Administration Act, which governs the situation whenever there is no will.
We can help you with your Grant of Probate application made to the Supreme Court. We can also assist the executor, if required, in organising the final distribution of funds as per the terms of the will.
Where no will exists, we can help smooth the way for the estate to be distributed properly to those who are entitled to benefits according to the Administration Act. Our team has successfully helped many people with their Letters of Administration application to the Probate Registry of the Supreme Court
Here at Alexanders Lawyers, we are always transparent and upfront with our costs. A simple will costs approximately $440 (including GST). For two similar wills, our charge is reduced to $660 for both wills (including GST). Understandably, larger fees apply when complex assets and business structures need to be considered. Talk to us about our fees for obtaining a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration. These costs are negotiable depending upon the complexity of the estate.
